Before the photographer arrives:

Everywhere

  • Put all jackets and coats in closets
  • Remove clothes from doorknobs, wall hangers, etc
  • Remove seasonal/holiday decorations

In the kitchen

  • Clear counters
  • Remove magnets, papers, etc from refrigerator
  • Clear dishes from sink
  • Remove/hide trash cans
  • Straighten dining chairs
  • Remove child seats/boosters

In the bathrooms

  • Clear countertops of toiletries, medications, etc
